Introducing Gator Snap: A Certified Fortified Galvalume Standing Seam Metal Roof

Our Certified Fortified Standing Seam metal roofing, known as Gator Snap, has undergone extensive engineering tests to prove its ability to withstand the wind and rain that are common in the Gulf Coast region.  Gator Snap roofing provides a clean, contemporary look that is architecturally scaled for residential applications in Louisiana and western Mississippi. Manufactured from 24 gauge Galvalume, Gator Snap stands apart from most standing seam panels. In comparison to most panels, Gator Snap has all concealed fasteners, eliminating failure-prone rubber washers beneath exposed screw heads. This additional protection is especially important considering the wind, hail, rain, and humidity brought by our southern climate.

Designed To Be The Very Best

We designed Gator Snap for homeowners who want a metal roof with a traditional appearance, or require special architectural considerations. Our process and all the materials we use, including the raw materials, supplies used to install the roof on your home and the final product were thoroughly tested and certified by the Fortified Roof program. We also carefully designed the trims used to complete a Gator Snap roof for beauty and durability.

We produce Gator Snap panels on site and they come with high-quality Kynar Hylar paint finishes. Gator Snap is the top-of-the-line standing seam roofing for your home.

A Finish Made to Last

Gator Snap standing seam panels come with Industry-leading PVDF coating technology. Each panel is coated with a baked-on protective primer and a Kynar 500® or Hylar 5000® PVDF resin-based coating to provide a high-quality finish. Kynar 500® and Hylar 5000® are trade names for polyvinylidene fluoride resin. The backs of the panels are finished with a protective clear coat. The finish includes reflective pigment to enhance the product’s energy efficiency.
